Lecture Description
Each participant selects a topic in Physics or Astronomy from a predefined list. The chosen topic is then explored in depth through independent study. The results are presented to fellow students in the form of a short scientific talk, in which the topic should be explained clearly and comprehensibly. The duration of the presentation is based on the standards of physics conferences. The use of prepared text and visual material is encouraged (overhead projector / beamer / blackboard).
Study and Required Prerequisites: Introductory Physics lecture(s).
Assessment: Short oral presentation on a self-developed topic in Physics or Astronomy.
