Course Description
This is the third part of a three-semester introduction to Quantum Mechanics. The following topics are covered:
- time-dependent perturbation theory
- scattering
- a charged particle in an external electromagnetic field
- quantization of the field
The learning objective is to develop the ability to apply Quantum Mechanics to physically relevant time-dependent problems, as well as to acquire a basic understanding of the interaction between charged particles and fields.
