Course Description
The course covers the fundamentals of mass spectrometry, the operating principles of the most common instruments used in laboratory mass spectrometry, their analytical capabilities, and the ion optical systems used in these instruments. Applications of mass spectrometers in physics, chemistry, geology, biology, and space science are also discussed.
