Course Description
The course consists of two parts: the first focuses on precision physics using neutrons, and the second on neutrino physics.
The main topics of the course include:
- Introduction to neutron physics, neutron sources, and neutron optics
- Neutron scattering and interferometry
- Particle physics experiments with neutrons, including ultracold neutrons, neutron (EDM), neutron lifetime and decay, electric charge, and gravity
- Neutrino oscillations and neutrino mass
- Neutrinoless double-beta decay
